Hello Saints: 

I received a plea from a believer seeking assistance in meeting this month's apartment rent. In the past, I have always made referrals to one of our local area resource agencies that have programs in place to meet such needs. I attempted to refer the believer to a local agency here in the Houston area for help, only to find that the agency had already run out of funds for this month.  For several days I sought God's leading on this matter and this morning He woke me up with the idea of seeking assistance for His child from other believers within the Body of Christ; I then remembered that this believer sent me a text which expressed that same sentiment.  In reflecting upon the text it all came together.  Here is the text: 

 ...I need immediate help. If every Christian in the body of Christ pulled their resouces together...nobody in the Body should go lacking. We are the ones who should pour out  to the world, not the other way around.  I am praying  and seeking to be positioned.

Thank God for agencies, but what about the Body?  I'm seeking wisdom to be positioned. I want wealth so that I can be a blessing.  Why should The Body look to the world system or the goverment, or agencies to be sustained?  We need help... Cos we still got a long ways to go as Believers. Tarsha

Well Saints, I could not have said it any better. The believer's name is Tarsha and she desires our immediate help. She is being evicted, and we all can help.
