Our Beliefs.... 

• We believe that our community is in need of change and that change first starts with us as African American males.

 

• We believe that our sinful lifestyles have alienated us from God and that He has allowed us to reap the consequences of our disobedience.

 

• We believe that God has given us a prescription or formula for the change needed in our community and that this formula is expressed in a popular verse of scripture found in the Old Testament of the Bible, II Chronicles 7:14.

 

• We believe that as African American men, if we confess and repent of our sin, make a decision to turn away from our sinful lifestlyles, and then seek Gods's forgiveness, that God promises to heal our lives, our families and our communities...i.e... our land.

 

• We believe millions are ready to re-dedicate their lives to God. We believe that He is literally drawing African American men back to Him after allowing life’s tribulations and experiences to refocus and reprioritize Him in their lives. They are now ready to voluntarily surrender their individual wills to His in obedience and submission.

 

• We believe that as Black men, if we walk in relationship and obedience with almighty God, our community will reap God's benefits and His blessings.  That African American men will again assume their roles as leaders in our churches, homes, marriages, families, and communities.  Our communities will realize long awaited and much needed change that will allow them to thrive again; our children will again reach for the stars and beyond; our family relationships will be strengthened and our neighborhoods will again be safe.  It is now time for God's Harvest!

 

• It is now time for black men to resume our rightful place in our homes and communities. To stand as husbands who love and respect our wives, and for whom they can respect; as dads who provide love, structure and discipline in the lives of our children; as brothers and uncles who serve as role models; as grandfathers who mentor our sons and our daughters and our family clan; as law abiding citizens in our homes rather than as criminals in our jails; and as leaders and dependable followers who co-labor in the vineyard of rebuilding greatness in the African American community.

 

• The time is now for “ALL” of our African American brothers and sisters to unite under God and embrace their uniqueness and their culture. The time is now for “ALL” to delight and take pride in the best of what our Community offers to the World. The time is now for “All” of Black America to return to God.

 

2nd Chronicle 7v14 is a non-profit organization dedicated to ministering to the African American male desiring the path back to righteous living and reunification with God.
